RamenOne

Project Type: Hospitality

Project Scope: Design & Furnished.

Year: 2023-2024

Ramen One was designed around the Japanese idea of ohitorisama — embracing and normalizing dining alone.  The restaurant focused on creating a comfortable, private experience for solo guests. The layout featured individual booths with retractable dividers, allowing diners to control their level of privacy.

Inspired by the efficient, solo-friendly model of Japan’s Ichiran-style ramen shops, the design prioritized simplicity, privacy, and ease. The result was a streamlined space where guests could enjoy their meal independently, without feeling rushed or out of place.
