The Green Lake project was a thoughtful transformation of an original cedar summer cabin into a comfortable, multi-generational retreat — while preserving the character and craftsmanship that made the home special.

Our approach was rooted in restraint. We retained the cabin’s natural materials and original details, including its exposed laminated wood beams, while reworking the interior to improve flow, functionality, and everyday comfort.

To accommodate a growing family, the property was expanded with a new two-bedroom, two-bath coach house. Designed to complement the existing cabin and its natural surroundings, the addition created a flexible space for family and guests while maintaining a cohesive connection between the two homes.

From the interior design and space planning to the broader site considerations, every element was thoughtfully considered to balance the needs of modern living with the character of the original property.
